In Forney’s Devonshire community, $535,000 gets you a 2016 two-story with 3,210 square feet, a private pool, a primary suite on the main floor, and a roof that was replaced in 2025. That works out to roughly $167 a square foot, which is a hard number to find for this much house anywhere closer to Dallas.

The layout is where this one earns its keep. The primary suite is downstairs with a walk-in closet big enough to share without negotiating. There’s a dedicated office on the main level too, so working from home doesn’t mean working from the kitchen table. Location-wise, you’re on the US 80 corridor, about 25 miles from downtown Dallas, and the home is zoned to Forney ISD (Crosby Elementary, Brown Middle, North Forney High). Forney has grown fast over the last decade, and Devonshire is one of the communities that shows why: room to spread out, amenities you’d pay a lot more for in other parts of DFW, and a price that still makes sense.
